I recently had the opportunity to take an at-home myDNA test to see insights of my genes in relation to fitness, nutrition & caffeine! Have you ever wondered how your genes come into play when it comes to your nutrition and exercise? If so, you're not alone! I took a myDNA test which is a super easy swab test to understand my genes--how I respond to nutrition, what foods would be best for digestion and health, as well as how I respond to exercise and which formats would be best. SO COOL! I LOVE how easy the process was and results were provided within a matter of just a few weeks! Speedy! Results explain various ways seven genes influence your appetite, body figure, weight, fat storage, your ability to break down fat, and your risk of triglycerides. For fitness, it tests your stamina, endurance, response to physical activity [injury, accidents, etc..]. It also tests how you respond to caffeine throughout the day and how that impacts your sleep pattern! I love how detailed they are!
For example...according to my genetics and DNA.. my nutrition should have a strong focus on healthy fats and fiber-rich, natural foods and I am more suited for endurance training. CAFFEINE:
