yup, that's right..LONDON! this work trip was my first time traveling on my own to a european country! it was definitely quite the experience! although it was all for work, i did have my fair share of "touristy" fun. looking back, the entire trip really felt like a dream! seeing all of the tourist spots (london eye, big ben, buckingham palace, etc..) was unreal. the building's there are absolutely gorgeous. i also absolutely loved learning about london's rich history (i took a 2 hour "royal walking tour LOL). the coffee there was amazing (i love me my coffee time) and i got to experience the cutest british afternoon tea at sketch.london.
the natural products expo was a huge hit, too! europeans LOVE 100% pure. i can definitely say that i've never before interacted with so many different europeans (french, italian, polish, german, etc..haha). seeing all of the international health + wellness brands was beyond amazing! i also got to meet the founders of l'eminence and origins, which was really cool.
i do have to say though, i've never felt so homesick..like ever. not to sound like a total baby, but i really really missed my mom..like a lot! this trip was a huge eye opener for me! i've always thought of myself as an introvert and as much as i love the term "miss independent", traveling on my own this past week made me realize how much i actually love being surrounded by others (friends + family, obviously!)..thank goodness though for my faith. whenever i really felt alone, i went directly to the word and found peace through scriptures. (GOD IS SO GOOD.)
"for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self- control." [2 timothy 1:7]
it was an amazing trip! i could really go on for a while talking about it, but that's what photos are for, right?
enjoy :) xoxo
