at-home lab testing that’s SUPER easy, cost-efficient, and educates? hello, EVERLYWELL. i've had the opportunity to take their food sensitivity test (view blog here) and recently took their heart health test. #lifebetterlived
test gifted by everlywell, but thoughts are my own.
a huge thank you to EverlyWell for having me try out their food sensitivity test! i loved how simple, easy + convenient the at-home process was. this test measures your body’s IgG response to 96 foods to provide guidance on what may be the best to eliminate [immunoglobulin G is the most abundant type of antibody that is found in all body fluids + protects against bacterial + viral infections.] i have a general idea of foods that don’t sit well with me, but I was curious to see if there was anything else.

HOW IT WORKS?
you first register your kit. each kit comes with all of the tools you need to simply prick yourself + fill out a mini card with samples of your blood. after taking care of that, you place everything in a zip-lock bag + send it off to their lab via their pre-paid shipping label + envelope. they make it super easy!
all in all..I wasn't TOO surprised by the results. as mentioned above, i'm pretty familiar with which foods sit well in my tummy. the coolest part was seeing that the results lined up with what I knew! really cool, actually.
I had no high reactivity to any of the listed foods, I was moderate with 2, mild with 17 & low in
the remaining 77! the moderate ones were yeast + malt.
so, what now? nothing will change. i'll stick to my normal, balanced diet. my heart behind taking this test was to see if this is something I would advise my clients to take. would I advise them to take this? ABSOLUTELY!
if you find yourself dealing with any of the symptoms below (frequently), I highly recommend it!
i also love that they have a variety of BOTH men’s + women’s kits..highly recommend checking them out!
have any of you guys tried one of their kits? would love to hear about it below!
